The following article will describe how to collect information from your iOS device that is needed for diagnosing your Wifi issues.
Please follow these instructions under the advisement of a Technology Service staff.
Creating a Wifi Scan report:
Proceed to the app store and download the app named "AirPort Utility"
Then perform the following:
1. Go to Settings
2. Scroll down and click on "AirPort Utility"
3. Turn on Wifi Scanner
4. Close Settings
5. While in your room launch the AirPort Utility App
6. Click Wifi Scan
7. Move the slider to 30 seconds and click Scan
8. Take a screenshot of the results and attach it to one the following:
- In a reply to a previous email regarding your outstanding ticket.
- Directly in the hub on your outstanding ticket.
Collecting extra information:
1. Go into Setting On your Phone
2. Tap on General
3. Tap on About
4. Scroll down until both "Version" and "Wifi Address" Are displayed on the screen
5. Take a screenshot of the results and attach it to one the following:
- In a reply to a previous email regarding your outstanding ticket.
- Directly in the hub on your outstanding ticket.
