🏫 Where to go

  • Visit the Safety and Security Office on the upper level of the Students’ Union Building (SUB)
  • Do not visit the Access Control Office directly — all ID card services are handled at the Safety and Security operations desk.

📸 How to take and upload your ID photo

Follow these guidelines to make sure your photo is accepted:

  • Face the camera directly — no side profiles.
  • Use a light, solid background (white or off-white).
  • No borders, hats, sunglasses, or anything covering your face.
  • Ensure good contrast between you and the background.
  • The photo must be in colour, with no red-eye or flash reflection.
  • Save your photo as a JPG/JPEG file.
  • Upload your photo through the Access Control Services page.

The Department of Safety and Security may reject photos that don’t meet these standards.
