Tutors at Acadia University are faculty-recommended individuals who have demonstrated strong academic performance and subject expertise. They typically fall into one of the following categories:

π Upper-year undergraduate students who have successfully completed the course they’re tutoring

π Graduate students with advanced knowledge in their field

π§π« Occasionally, recent alumni or teaching assistants may also serve as tutors
All tutors must:

Receive a recommendation from a faculty member

Have earned a minimum grade of A- in the course they wish to tutor

Be approved by the Tutoring Coordinator

Agree to the terms outlined in the Tutoring Agreement Form
Tip: Tutors are matched based on subject compatibility and availability, so it’s best to request help early in the term.
