If you notice a safety concern on campus — whether it’s a hazard, suspicious activity, or an incident — here’s what to do:

• 📞 Call the Safety & Security office at 902-585-1103

• 📧 Email security@acadiau.ca for non-urgent concerns or follow-up questions

• 🚨 In an emergency, dial 911 immediately

• 📍 If using a campus phone (with a 585 exchange), your location will be automatically shared with responders

For health and safety hazards (e.g. spills, broken equipment, unsafe conditions):

• 🧾 Notify your supervisor or Safety & Security right away

• 📝 Supervisors must complete a Health and Safety Report within 2 business days

• 🩺 If someone is injured, ensure they receive first aid or medical attention promptly
