The SafeWalk program at Acadia University provides students with a safe escort to and from campus locations during evening hours. It’s a free service designed to help you feel secure when walking alone at night.
Here’s how to use it:

π Call the Safety & Security office at 902-585-1103 to request a SafeWalk

πΆβοΈ A trained security staff member will meet you and walk with you to your destination

π Available during evening and night time hours, especially when the shuttle service is not running

π« Escorts are available between campus buildings, residences, parking lots, and nearby off-campus locations
Tip: You can also request a SafeWalk if you feel uncomfortable or unsafe for any reason — it’s not just for emergencies.
