Computer account request form

Request a network account for members of the Acadia community to allow them access to Acadia's technology resources.

Employee Accounts. An employee network account is intended for employees of Acadia. A request for a network account can be initiated by anyone, however Human Resources will verify the eligibility of the request. Students working on campus (i.e. for faculty or in departments) and require access to network resources, such as printing, photocopying or scanning, are considered employees. An Acadia email address (first name.last name@acadiau.ca) will be generated. 

Guest Accounts. A guest network account is intended for visitors and/or non-employees of Acadia. A request for a guest network account can be initiated by anyone, however the account must be approved by the department head.

Approvals. The online process will transfer the request onto the appropriate designate for approval. Progress of the account request will be available within the service request. When the account creation process is complete, the requestor will be notified, and the account owner will be contacted via their alternate email address.
