If I am an entering the Engineering Certificate/Bachelor of Applied Science Program - will I get to keep my scholarship after I finish at Acadia? 💠 Will I still get my scholarship after I transfer to Dal? 💠 Does my Acadia funding carry over to Dalhousie? 💠 Can I keep my scholarship when I leave Acadia for engineering?

If you're in Acadia’s Engineering Certificate / Bachelor of Applied Science program and have a renewable scholarship, you may be eligible to keep part of your scholarship when you transfer to Dalhousie University for the next phase of your engineering degree.

Dalhousie guarantees to match the renewable portion of your Acadia scholarship, up to $5,000, for your first year at Dal, if:

  • You have a GPA of 3.85 or higher in your engineering program at Acadia

  • You meet all of Acadia’s renewable scholarship requirements

👉 This is not an extra award—Dalhousie uses its own scholarship funding to match the value of your Acadia renewable scholarship (up to $5,000).
👉 If your grades are strong, you may qualify for more than $5,000 from Dal’s other scholarships.
