Do I have an Academic Advisor? 🔹 Do I have someone to help me pick my courses? 🔹 Who do I talk to about my degree plan? 🔹 How do I find out who my academic advisor is?

Yes! Every student at Acadia has access to an academic advisor. Academic advisors help you choose your courses, plan your degree, and answer questions about your academic program.

Advisors are usually assigned through your academic department (for example: Biology, English, Business, etc.). Each department handles advising a little differently, so it’s important to know who to contact.

If you’re not sure who to reach out to, or if you haven’t heard from an advisor yet, it’s okay to contact your department directly or email advising@acadiau.ca for help.
