Whether you're just starting at Acadia or already a student, there are different steps to follow to change your program.

🆕 Before you begin studies

• If you haven’t started classes yet, contact the Admissions Office to request a program change.
• Email: admissions@acadiau.ca

🎓 After you’ve started at Acadia

• Meet with the academic department of the program you want to switch into.
• If they approve the change, they’ll notify the Registrar’s Office in writing.
• The Registrar will then update your student record.

📘 Helpful Definitions

• Program of study: The degree or major you’re officially enrolled in (e.g., Biology, History, Engineering, etc.).
• Admissions Office: The team that handles applications and program placements for incoming students.
• Registrar’s Office: The department that manages student records, course registration, and program changes.
