I want my parents to be able to access my information. How can I give permission for this? 🔹 How can I give my parents access to my student info? 🔹 Can someone else see my grades or account details? 🔹 How do I authorize someone to speak on my behalf?

All student information at Acadia is confidential and protected. If you want to allow someone else (like a parent or guardian) to access your records, you’ll need to complete a  Release of Information Permission Form.

📝 How to give permission

📌 Important notes

  • Your Acadia Network Account must be active to submit the form.
  • You can update or cancel the permission at any time.

📘 Helpful Definitions

  • Confidential information: Includes your grades, registration status, financial account, and other personal academic records.
  • Release of Information: A formal process that allows you to give someone else access to your student records.
  • Acadia Network Account: Your official student login used to access Acadia systems like the Hub, email, and Moodle.

📝 Special Notes

  • Without this form, Acadia staff cannot share your information with anyone — even parents or guardians.
  • If you need help completing the form, contact the Registrar’s Office or the Service Desk.
