Can I cross the stage without having my program complete? 🔹 Can I still walk at graduation if I haven’t finished all my courses? 🔹 What if I’m not done my program — can I still go to convocation? 🔹 Do I need to be officially graduated to cross the stage?

To cross the stage at convocation, you must meet all of the following:

  • ✅ Successfully complete all your program requirements
  • 💰 Have your student account paid in full
  • 🏛️ Be approved by the Academic Senate to graduate

If you don’t meet these criteria, you won’t be able to walk across the stage. However, you’re still welcome to join in other Convocation Weekend activities.

If you’re not eligible for Spring Convocation, you can:

  • 📅 Apply for Fall Graduation instead
  • ✉️ Let the Registrar’s Office know you’d like your application moved to fall
  • 💸 There’s no fee or academic penalty for transferring your application

📌 Note: Acadia no longer holds a Fall Convocation ceremony (as of October 2009). If you graduate in the fall, you’ll still be invited to walk in the Spring Convocation the following year.
