No — your parchment (degree) is an official legal document, so it must show your full legal name as it appears in your student record.

If your legal name has changed, you can request a name update before your parchment is printed.

👉 You can request a name change on all official University documentation using this form and submitting it to the Registrar's Office (registrar@acadiau.ca)

👉 Students wishing to change their chosen name can do so via Self-Service for all internal Acadia purposes, including classlists, Moodle, Axcess ID card, and communications.
