If you just have a quick question, you don’t always need to book a full 50-minute tutorial. The Writing Centre does accept drop-ins, as long as a tutor isn’t already booked with someone else.
Here’s how it works:
-
✅ Drop by anytime during open hours
-
✅ If a tutor is free, they’ll be happy to help you
-
✅ If all tutors are booked, you’ll need to schedule a session through ACORN
That said, if your question might take more time — like reviewing a draft or talking through assignment instructions — it’s best to book a tutorial so you get the full support you need.
