Yes — Open Acadia provides exam proctoring services for students taking online courses. These services ensure that exams are completed in a secure and supervised environment.
Here’s how it works:
-
🧑🏫 You can write your exam on-campus, off-campus with an approved proctor, or online through Moodle
-
📅 You must submit an exam request form in Moodle at least 7 business days before your preferred exam date
-
📧 If writing off-campus, email openacadiaexams@acadiau.ca after scheduling your proctor
-
🛑 Proctors must be approved by Acadia — friends, family, or fellow students are not eligible
-
💸 Exams taken at Acadia are free; off-campus proctoring fees are the student’s responsibility
This service is available to current Open Acadia students and external students writing exams for other institutions
