To apply for a course through Open Acadia, follow these steps based on your student status:

🧑‍🎓 If you're a current Acadia student:

  • Log in to Acadia Self Service

  • Use Advanced Search and select the appropriate term (e.g. “Continuous Intake”)

  • Register for your chosen course directly

🆕 If you're a new or visiting student:

  • Go to the Open Acadia Homepage

  • Apply using the undergraduate application and select “Independent” as your program

  • Indicate which course(s) you’re interested in under “Notes”

  • Submit any required transcripts

  • Once accepted (usually within 3–4 business days), you’ll receive instructions to complete registration

💳 Payment & Fees:

  • Online courses are not included in full-time tuition — part-time fees apply

  • You’ll need to pay course fees during registration unless otherwise arranged

Make sure to review course descriptions and timelines before applying. Some courses are continuous intake, meaning you can start anytime and work at your own pace.
