As an international student at Acadia, you’re automatically enrolled in the International Medical Plan each academic year. This plan is designed to cover your essential health needs while studying in Canada.
Here’s what you need to know:

🩺 Coverage includes doctor visits, hospitalization, lab tests, emergency transportation, prescription drugs, mental health support, and more

🧾 The cost of the plan is included in your student fees, and coverage begins when your term starts

📱 You can manage your benefits and submit claims using the My Peak mobile app from StudentVIP

🧭 If you already have comparable coverage, you may be eligible to opt out during the designated opt-out period — proof of coverage is required
