Your EAP level is determined in one of two ways:

📝 Option 1: Acadia Placement Test

  • Taken on the first day of the term

  • Assesses your skills in reading, writing, listening, and speaking

  • Helps place you in the level that best matches your needs

📄 Option 2: External Test Scores

  • If you’ve recently completed TOEFL, IELTS, or DET, you can submit your scores

  • You’ll be placed directly into the appropriate EAP level based on your results
