You’ll receive emergency alerts only when necessary, typically during urgent or campus-wide situations. Acadia University uses the Acadia ALERT system sparingly to ensure that messages are timely, relevant, and taken seriously.
Alerts may be issued for:

You won’t receive alerts for routine updates or general announcements — the system is reserved for critical circumstances only.
Tip: If you ever feel like you missed an alert, check your Acadia email, voicemail on campus phones, or the to confirm your settings.
