The opt-out periods for the Acadia Students' Union (ASU) health and dental plans are specific to the semester you start in and have strict deadlines. You must submit your application during the correct period each academic year.

The deadlines are as follows:

  • September Start: August 16 – September 30

  • January Start: December 16 – January 31

  • May Start: April 16 – May 31

  • July Start: June 16 – July 31

You must submit a new opt-out application each academic year during the appropriate period. There are no exceptions or extensions to these deadlines.
