If you notice a safety concern on campus โ€” whether itโ€™s a hazard, suspicious activity, or an incident โ€” hereโ€™s what to do:

  • ๐Ÿ“ž Call the Safety & Security office at 902-585-1103

  • ๐Ÿ“ง Email security@acadiau.ca for non-urgent concerns or follow-up questions

  • ๐Ÿšจ In an emergency, dial 911 immediately

  • ๐Ÿ“ If using a campus phone (with a 585 exchange), your location will be automatically shared with responders

For health and safety hazards (e.g. spills, broken equipment, unsafe conditions):

  • ๐Ÿงพ Notify your supervisor or Safety & Security right away

  • ๐Ÿ“ Supervisors must complete a Health and Safety Report within 2 business days

  • ๐Ÿฉบ If someone is injured, ensure they receive first aid or medical attention promptly
