To graduate with the Co-op Option on your degree, you’ll need to complete a specific number of paid, full-time work terms depending on your program:

🎓 Undergraduate students:

• ✅ Three 4-month Co-op work terms OR

• ✅ One internship lasting 12 or 16 months

🎓 Graduate students:

• ✅ MSc in Applied Mathematics & Statistics – One 4-month work term

• ✅ MSc in Computer Science – Two 4-month work terms

Each work term gives you hands-on experience in your field, helps you build professional skills, and adds valuable content to your resume — all while earning academic credit.

📘 Helpful Definitions:

• Work term: A 4-month paid job placement related to your field of study

• Internship: A longer paid placement (12–16 months) that fulfills Co-op requirements in one block

• Co-op Option: A designation on your degree that shows you completed structured work experience
