You MUST copy the files to your computer or the license info will not install properly.

Where to Locate the Software
Go to https://acadiau.sharepoint.com/sites/projects/VFR. Under the Student Software section, select SAS. Select the Windows folder. Select SAS-win.zip then select Download in the menu at the top. Select SAS94_9CKD53_70080266_Win_Wrkstn.txt then select Download in the menu at the top.
Windows Users
Windows users:
Go Downloads and run SAS-win.zip. Choose Extract All. Once the files have extracted, go into the Win x64 Installer folder and run setup.exe. Choose your language, then OK when prompted.
• Choose Install SAS software.
• Choose Install SAS Foundation and Related Software.
• Choose which products you want to install. If you're not sure what to choose, just leave the default products already selected.
• Choose either 64-bit Native Mode or 32-bit Compatibility Mode. You will likely be running 64-bit Windows but you can verify this by right-clicking This PC and going to Properties.
• Choose which SAS Foundation products you want to install. Again, if you're not sure, just leave the default products already selected.
• Select Browse in the SAS data file window. Browse to your Downloads folder and choose SAS94_9CCWBN_70080266_Win_Wrkstn.txt.
Click Next on the license information window. Choose your language support options. If you only need English, select the Clear All button then Next.
• Choose SAS Foundation (32-bit) then Next. SAS will now install.
• SAS goes on to check the file system. When it has finished, select Next then Start to start the install. This will take some time.
• When the installation has finished, select Next then Finish. SAS is now installed and will be found under your Start button.
How to renew your SAS license:
If you already have SAS installed, you can copy the new SAS license file to your computer, then run the SAS Deployment Manager to update it.
• Download the attached SAS94_9CKD53_70080266_Win_Wrkstn.txt file and save it to your computer. It is in the Files section on the right.
• On your computer, go to Start, go into the SAS folder. Right click on Renew SAS Software 9.4, select More then Run as Administrator. Choose your language and select OK.
• Make sure Apply SAS Foundation license file for renewal is checked, and select Next.
• Browse to where you saved the SAS94_9CKD53_70080266_Win_Wrkstn.txt file and then select Next.
• Select Next and then Start to apply the license. Select Next then Finish.
