How to Map a Network Drive - Mac OS

Instructions as to how to map a network drive for Mac Operating System

  1. Make sure your Finder is selected (should say Finder in the top left corner)
  2. Click on GO then Connect to Server (TIP : Shortcut for this is Command + K)
  3. Type in the address of the drive you are trying to connect to:
    • Departmental (S) drive: smb://home.acadiau.ca/departments
    • Falcon drive: smb://falcon.acadiau.ca/username
    • Click "Connect"
  4. Enter acadia\username, substituting "username" with your Acadia username (i.e. acadia\jdoe)
  5. Enter password
