How to update to latest version of your web browser

Steps to ensure that you have the latest version of web browsers for protect against threats and vulnerabilities.

Steps

Windows

1.  Open Firefox, Chrome or Edge application and click on the three bars/dots in the top right corner. 
2. Click on Help > About Firefox or Help > About Google Chrome or Help & Feedback > About Microsoft Edge. This will prompt browser to check for and apply updates.  If there are no updates, it will display the message that Firefox/Google Chrome/Microsoft Edge is up to date. If there are updates the browser will automatically perform the update and prompt you for further action.

Mac OS

1. Open Firefox, Chrome or Edge application and click on "Firefox", "Chrome" or "Edge" which is located on the top toolbar, next to the Apple logo. 
2. Click on About Firefox, About Google Chrome or About Microsoft Edge.  This will prompt the browser to check for and apply updates.  If there are no updates, it will display the message that Firefox/Google Chrome/Microsoft Edge is up to date. If there are updates the browser will automatically perform the update and prompt you for further action.
